Fictional veterans with lives beyond their service.
VeteranVille is an adult storytelling experience about thirty invented military veterans. Ten characters belong to each of the UK, United States and Canada editions. Their family lives, civilian work, hobbies and time in service form individual stories, rather than a record of any real person.
Read a life in six parts
Each character has a room and six authored chapters. Start with childhood, follow their service years and discover the relationships and everyday interests that shape life afterwards. You can read in any order and return without buying a gift.
Explore this country’s ten fictional veterans →Fiction, not a service record
Names, biographies, rooms and service histories are invented. VeteranVille is not a military archive, recruitment service or source for verifying someone’s service. Historical context does not turn a character’s story into testimony.
Portraits and rooms are AI-created artwork. The four-petal mark opens an explanation of that artwork; it is not an official military badge or verification seal.
Understand who is replying
The conversation panel identifies the mode currently available in a room. A fictional character is never a real veteran replying to you. Read that notice before sharing anything, and keep personal, medical and financial information out of a conversation.

VeteranVille is a commercial storytelling project in the CloserVisits family. It is not affiliated with a government, military organisation, charity or residential facility. An optional virtual decoration is for a fictional room; it is not a donation or a gift delivered to a veteran.
